If you are looking for the typical 1998 Chevrolet pickup that has had about 5 owners by now and has been cut up for stereo and exhaust a couple times you need to look elsewhere. If you are looking for a one owner truck that was well maintained and is ready to enjoy and drive anywhere, read on. This 139,000 mile truck has been totally refurbished including a complete professional repaint, refinished wheels and brand new tires. All the glass and doors were removed for the repaint. The doors received new bushings, pins, and roller pins so they shut perfect. The interior was removed, detailed plus the carpet and headliner were replaced. After the paint was finished it received a new windshield, front bumper, grille, body side moldings and wheel opening trim. I also replaced the fuel pump because it was noisy plus the front brakes, radiator, and one of the horns. It runs and drives out just like the new truck it looks like. Everything works including the air, cruise control, power windows, locks, and radio. It is a sharp truck. No disappointments or excuses. This truck is right.
The truck had all the trim, windows and bed removed to repaint it. It needed new cab corners and a rocker panel section. All welding and body work was done by myself because I do it for a living. The paint was applied by a professional paint man who gets paid to do this for a living in a professional paint booth then was cured in an oven properly. If my shop were to charge for this paint job, it would cost no less than $10,000.00. It is a very neat paint job in that there is no overspray on the trim or doorjambs. Plus no tape edges were paint might want to peel off later. It is straight, flat, sharp, and shiney.
