Vehicle description
Up for sale is a 1998 Buick Regal GS Sedan. This vehicle is equipped with a 3.8L supercharged V6 engine and an automatic transmission.
Mileage will change as the car is still driven.
This vehicle belongs to my father and he is a smoker so there may be some odor of smoke. The detail shop that cleaned it seems to have done an excellent job in removing the odor.
This vehicle is Pennsylvania state inspected until 5/21. Because the car is registered as a classic it does not need emissions inspection. The vehicle does not have any check engine lights or other issues and runs great.
The following items have been done to the car since owning it.
-The car was repainted with a white pearl coat approximately 2 years ago. This was to correct the peeling paint issue that most of these cars have from the factory.
-The transmission was replaced with a re-manufactured unit about 3 years ago and has around 5,000 miles on it. The car does not get driven much.
-The supercharger pulley has been replaced with a slightly smaller pulley for quicker boost.
-The factory radio was replaced with an aftermarket unit. The aftermarket unit does function with the steering wheel controls. The aftermarket radio has bluetooth and all of the modern connections. The factory radio will be included with the sale of the vehicle. There is a bass tube speaker mounted in the trunk as well.
-The headlights have been changed out to LED and the fog lights are HID. These can easily be removed and factory bulbs re-installed.
-The factory catalytic converter has been removed and bypassed. The factory converter will be included with the sale of the vehicle. The bypass does not cause any emission issues and the vehicle will pass Pennsylvania state emissions without issue. Other states may vary, again the factory catalytic converter is included with the car.
-The wheels have been changed, the factory wheels are no longer available. The tires have plenty of tread left.
-Aftermarket seat warmers were installed so the vehicle has heated front seats.
-The windows are tinted and holding up well.
The car does have some small scratches, and dings since it has been painted. This is to be expected with a used vehicle.
There is 1 open recall for the front valve cover. This was never resolved as my father did not want to lose the engine dressing cover, which is removed during the recall. The valve cover does not leak at this time it is not an issue right now but may need future repair.
This car is for sale locally and we reserve the right to end the auction early.
The vehicle is being sold AS-IS. Buyers will have to arrange their own shipping and transportation.
All in state sales to a PA resident will require that the title be notarized at the buyers cost at the time of sale.Any questions please ask before bidding.
