Elegant and powerful, this 1998 BMW 740i remains in pristine condition. This one owner car has clocked most of its 75,267 actual miles in Florida. The engine runs evenly and the transmission shifts smoothly. No service lights show in the dashboard. On the road the car drives straight and comfortably. The car was repainted 2 months ago and the black trim has been refurbished. Headlights are clear and shine brightly. All blinkers function. The taillights are faded. There is a small crack in the front plastic bumper near the grill. The car is lacking an upper windshield gasket. The wheels are in good condition and the tires have several thousand miles left. All doors lock, unlock, and function properly. Central locking works as it should. The moonroof is clear and the plastic shade handle is missing. Heat and AC work very well. The glovebox handle is broken. This car has never been smoked in. The comfortable leather seats have been well preserved. Seat adjustment works as designed. Sideview mirror adjustment works when shifting into reverse. The factory head unit no longer works. Headliner is still taught against the roof. The center compartment doors open and the unit slides forward for armrest adjustment. Electronic steering wheel adjustments work as designed. A new battery has been installed. The trunk is clean and in very good condition. Factory CD changer works. The roadside repair kit is missing some tools. New BMW emblems have been placed on the hood and trunk.
