Silver 1998 BMW 540i 6 speed MANUAL V8.
Family has had the car for 20 years. Some cosmetic upkeep is needed but the car still runs great, a blast to drive, and still puts you back in your seat when you want to floor it.
Took the car to South Lake European in Renton last month. Check engine light came on and the code that came back has to do with a CAM Shaft. Due to the age of the car this may just be a faulty sensor, and I no longer have the means to keep pumping money into this car. Clutch was replaced in 2017, other than that no engine problems with the car. A/C and Heat work great. Recently took the subwoofer and amp out of the back, so new owner will need to configure audio to their liking. Also the front passenger"s side window motor needs replacing, and the sunroof sometimes gets stuck.
I drive this car just about everyday because its a lot more fun than my truck
