Vehicle description
The car runs and drives great. It is heavily modified for track days. I purchased the car, already modified as a track day car, from a BMW CCA member in 2017 and performed numerous repairs and upgrades over a two year period while participating in HPDE events at Road Atlanta, AMP and Barber Motor Sports Park. My wife retired in 2019 and it is time to move back to a street car which we can both enjoy. Immediately following purchase, I took the car to a BMW specialist in Lawrenceville, GA for a complete inspection and tune up. They performed the following service at an odometer reading of 242,490 miles: · F ront brake service · Sway bar link and tie rod end replacement · Replace engine oil, engine coolant, differential fluid and transmission oil · Replace spark plugs · Vanos rebuild · Performance Dyno Tune – Max Power 220.38 HP at 201.7ft-lb torque
Over the next two years, I performed the following upgrades: · Replace front and rear windshield trim seals · Add Bimmerworld E36 fuel starvation kit (second fuel pump) · Replaced all wheel studs · Installed Mishimoto aluminum radiator and water pump with steel impeller · Replaced belts and coolant hoses · Replaced rear brake pads
Features include: · Engine upgrades · Re-enforced rear sub-frame · Upgraded suspension including larger sway bars and red poly bushings · Limited Slip Differential · Rollbar · Bimarco racing seats with 5 point harnesses · Driven competition steering wheel (removable) · Extra set of wheels with new Hankook Ventus V12 street tires · Working air conditioning · New battery Also for sale: Hans Device and a barely used Sparco Halo Seat
