Up for sale is a 4 door 1998 Acura Integra GSR in Frost White that was purchased in 1998 by an older couple at Acura of Boston and spent it"s whole life in Boston. Always garage kept and well maintained at the same dealership, until it was sold to me.
The car is completely stock and has never been beaten on or modified. The engine sounds and performs very smoothly. The transmission shifts very well with no grinds whatsoever. The clutch still feels like brand new. The suspension also feels very solid on bumps and turns with no hesitation.
The car is all original including all glass and body panels with VINs matching all around which can be seen in the photo album at the bottom of this description. Even the headlights and taillights are original.
Keep in mind, this car was mainly highway driven by the original owners. All brakes and tires are brand new all around. The car rides straight with no wobble even while braking. The heat works very well and the AC blows ice cold.
All features on the car including power windows/door locks/sunroof and cruise control function perfectly. There are no blown bulbs on the dash as well as no check engine or service lights on the cluster.
The interior of the car is 99.9% impeccable. All of the seats show no wear whatsoever. They look as if no one ever sat in them. The original mats were covered year round by all weather mats and are still brand new as seen in pictures. The pop-out cupholder still works! The ash tray and lighter were never used. This is a true non-smoker car.
This is a very rare car as any Honda/Acura/car enthusiast knows, especially for a 4 door Frost White GSR. It is highly collectible and sought after and has extremely low miles for its age.
It boasts a powerful DOHC VTEC engine and a close gear ratio transmission which is very similar to that of a Type-R with a final drive of 4.40. It also has an independent double wishbone suspension with thicker sway bars front and back like the Type-R. The car has all-wheel disc brakes.
The only cons for the car are as follows: The rear bumper shows some crinkling of the paint on the top from age. The passenger quarter panel was fixed by the previous owners cousin due to a small dime sized rust spot. The job was to prevent rust from spreading and was done well but unfortunately the paint does not match perfectly. I got an estimate to have the quarter panel redone for $250. The hood has small dings from acorns when the car was parked at the previous owners summer house. There are no scratches on the hood.
