Vehicle Details Up for auction is my very nice 1997 Mercedes SL 500 convertible with factory hard top / cloth soft top. Yes, mage is correct. .28k original miles. Still has the new Mercedes smell. Bought the car from a Mercedes guru / lover and she was well taken care of by him and now by me. As you'll read much care and work has been to the car and many dollars spent on her care recently. Car is ready to be driven and enjoyed and needs nothing that I know of at this time. Car has zero rust / rust repairs / accidents that I know about or can detect on inspection of the car. I will make every effort to detail everything about the car so all interested will be fully informed prior to bidding. This is a NO Reserve auction so high bidder takes her home. These SL 500 cars are getting harder to find and prices are going up. Very few are ever seen in this condition with this much work just completed. So here is your chance. Mechanical's: The car runs and drives great and she is ready for the open road. Starts right up with no smoke or noises. Engine bay is neat and clean. Car holds very good oil pressure when cold / warm. Brakes are solid and the transmission shift as it should. Drives solid, perfectly, no issues. All service records at MSBUSA Options: Car has all factory options including but limited to: Power seats, power headrest, power tilt steering wheel, power telescopic steering wheel, power mirrors, power soft top, power roll bar, front and side impact air bags plus all the other Mercedes options. Car retains its original Bose stereo system with cassette player and trunk mounted factory 6 CD player. Just replaced the power antenna as well. Electrical's: This area is in excellent condition with everything working inside / outside as it should. Interior: Is in very nice condition and I'll let the photos speak for its condition. . Exterior: Original Mercedes black paint. Very nice driver quality car. Car as seen in the photos and is straight as an arrow. The car sits evenly / squarely on the ground with no visible signs leaning or sagging. The rocker panels / jack points are solid / original and in perfect condition. Again, New Pirelli Tires with MB logo wheel center caps. Underbody: The under body is in excellent condition as are the interior floors and frame of the car. This is a Zero rust / rust repair car that I can find. Soft Top: The soft top is black as from the factory. Soft top is in PERFECT OPERATING AND ASTHETIC CONDITION Hard Top: Yes as STATED, it has the hard top. Perfect condition, used one time then covered on the roller and stored. Trunk: The trunk is rock solid. Car has the original spare wheel, original jack and looks to have never been out of the trunk. Original Mercedes First Aid Kit and owners manual comes with the car as well. Original 6 CD player in trunk as from the factory as well.
