This is one exquisite automobile. If you have arrived here at this page then I"m quite sure that you know what a w140 coupe is. This one includes the full delivery kit from new when acquired in South Florida. All books, manuals, pamphlets and MSRP window sticker are present and accounted for. MSRP showing over $93,000 for this fine, rare automobile. Genuine Mercedes-Benz OEM leather bound cover, also present.
Owned by the same family since new. The father was a doctor who purchased it brand new, After his passing in 2010, the son who lived in Connecticut came down and swooped up the vehicle and brought it back to Connecticut. His hopes were to keep the heirloom alive. Incredibly low mileage ensued over the next nine and a half years in his possession.
This is one example not to be missed. Dare I say, this is the lowest mileage w140 S500 coupe for sale in North America.
Incredible condition! Exterior paint furnished in smoke silver metallic. Beautiful leather interior with Burled Walnut trim. Every option including front and rear parking sensor. All power. As many of you have already asked, the seat belt extenders are present and actually work on this fine example.
Runs like a dream, as new. 100% original an 100% unrestored. Correct Mercedes-Benz hose clamps with starmarks present. Chalk lines from hoses to housings present.
Dig a little bit deeper on the research and development costs of the w140 chassis. I believe this was the most expensive developed car for Mercedes Benz in it"s over 140 year history. Double pane bulletproof glass, triple seals on all exterior openings. Please note this also does have the beautiful m119 all aluminum 32 valve fuel injected V8. Make no mistake this is an ultra-premium car.
