This is a 1997 E300 with the 3.0 I6 Non-Turbo Diesel known to run a million miles or more. Privately owned by an airline Captain and car collector.
used primarily to go to and from the airport, and always in AZ. She received the same treatment and products as my show cars and has had recent oil, transmission and
fuel filter change as well as tires and shocks.
The interior is leather and in stunning condition as you can see in the photos. Most of the E300s were MB-Tex. All of the features literally
work as new with the exception of the factory radio volume is "picky" but works, and the two original keys I have are a erratic with
remotely locking and unlocking the doors. You can always use the old fashioned way and stick in the key hole!
All books and manuals, spare tire/jack etc.
The paint on the trunk has clear coat peeling and there is a bit of fading on the hood. The trunk was repainted 21 years ago after a minor
accident when she got rear-ended at low speed by a P/U trunk with a dear guard on the front. Needed paint and taillights only.
Really is a wonderful and reliable car, and gets 30+ MPG!
