Vehicle description
This Jaguar XK8 is an extremely attractive two-door convertible with 2+2 seating. It comes with a fitted convertible tonneau cover, a Cassette/CD AM/FM Quad radio, chrome wheels and new tires. It has clean Georgia title, with a VinCheck through the National Motor Vehicle Identification System showing no accidents and all other indicators with no problems. It has spent most of its time in southern states and has the original quality paint job with no indication rust anywhere. This car has been garaged and well maintained, including over $5000 in services since its 100,000 checkup. It has a recently installed new rear main seal, new shocks replacement and suspension repairs, replaced coolant recovery tank, replaced transmission (used 50K replacement), new transmission cooler and cooling line, and newly reinstalled exhaust. Beneath the sloping hood lurks the famously reliable AJ-V8, 4.0-liter/290-horsepower DOHC engine; plenty of performance and very acceptable gas mileage. The interior is in particularly good shape showing minor color wear on the diver’s bolster, yet no tears or rips in the leather throughout. The power convertible top is in excellent condition with an intact tonneau cover. The bag for the tonneau stores easily in the trunk. The 8 CD player holder is in the trunk, as well. The rear window is glass and clear with a working defrost. The heat and AC work great. The cruise control works well, and all gauges are clear and functioning. The cup holder will not stay closed and there is minor wear on the arm rest. Overall, this is a fine luxury sporty car, with a very low cost per amenity and style. There really is not much let to do except fiddle with the cup holder to get it to stay closed. It is much more rare the a Corvette, and more affordable.
