1997 H1 Hummer Wagon, 6.5 Turbo Diesel Engine
H1 is in very good condition.
I purchased vehicle in 2010 and had a new engine installed, which has less than 5,000 miles on it now. Original engine had been overheated and block cracked. H1 has total original miles of 82,000. Has all available options except leather seats and some extras including full roof rack, brush guard, chrome wheels, snorkel and light bar with PIAA lights. Has 3rd row seat. Has working CTIS and original CTIS wheels w/air lines and tires w/run flat which have good tread and Also have 3 military type GoodYear Wrangler tires w/run flat (2 are new, 1 used with very good tread.) Has very minor cosmetic issues. The worst is small dent in one of the passenger doors. Previous owner had his stereo removed (not the speakers). Has all the original monsoon speakers and It comes with an Alpine in dash touch screen DVD/CD/Bluetooth stereo that has auto slide out screen. Also have the original Monsoon Stereo. Has a 17” fold down DVD player mounted for rear seats. Has new power steering pump and hydro-booster. Just installed 2 new batteries. Just had it serviced at local diesel shop. Engine runs great, but vehicle does need some minor repairs including bad Coolant Sensor. (Update on sensor7/12/18 - I am planning to have sensor replaced while H1 is in the shop, just trying to locate the correct one. I purchased one and it did not fit.) Had front end work done it, so It will need to be aligned. Will also need front tires replaced after alignment. (TOYO Open Country M/T 37x13.50R20) Have 2 spares on it right now, the new TOYOs wore out on the inside due to front end out of alignment. * *If anyone purchases vehicle and wants the alignment and tires replaced before pick up, I can get it done at buyers expense. This is my dream vehicle and had plans to do some additional upgrades and customizing on it, but I am needing to sell it now so I can pay offf new work truck. So hopefully someone will be looking for the perfect H1 to invest in and customize the way you want. It has a good start at being one of the baddest rides out on the road. It’s already a head turner.
