1997 H1 Hummer Wagon, 6.5 Turbo Diesel Engine
Reserve is set at $38,000, I will consider a buy it now price if anyone is a serious buyer.
H1 is in very good condition. I purchased vehicle in 2010 and had a new engine installed, which has less than 5,000 miles on it now. Original engine had been overheated and block cracked. H1 has total original miles of 82,000. Engine installed was a long block which had new turbo and water pump. Also had the glow plugs replaced at the same time, so all main components of engine have less than 5000 miles on them and the power steering pump and hydro booster have been replaced also, with less than 400 miles on them.
Has all available options except leather seats Some extras including: -Full roof rack -Brush guard -Chrome wheels -Snorkel -Light bar with PIAA lights -Remote start -3 military type GoodYear Wrangler tires w/run flat (2 are new, 1 used with very good tread.) -17” fold down DVD player mounted for rear seats. Has 3rd row seat. Has working CTIS and original CTIS wheels w/air lines and tires w/run flat which have good tread. (Have the air lines now thanks to a generous member that had a set and sent them to me for free.) Thanks again! The air lines work with the original wheel set. May be able to be adapted to fit the chrome wheels or other wheel types. Has all the original monsoon speakers and It comes with an Alpine in dash touch screen DVD/CD/Bluetooth stereo that has auto slide out screen. Just installed 2 new batteries. Just had it serviced at local diesel shop. It is very clean inside and out, seats are in perfect condition, no tears or stains. H1 drives and runs great, but vehicle does need some minor repairs including bad Coolant Sensor. Had front end work done on it, so it will need to be aligned. Will also need front tires replaced after alignment. (TOYO Open Country M/T 37x13.50R20) Have 2 spares on it right now, the new TOYOs wore out on the inside due to front end out of alignment. Has very minor cosmetic issues. The worst is small dent in one of the passenger doors. (See Photo)
This H1 was my dream vehicle, the only reason I’m selling is to pay off new work truck I just purchased. Had some very good offers on possible trades, but at this time the only thing I would be willing to trade for would be a Diesel motorhome. Planning to buy one soon, so if you have one and your willing to trade it, let me know. If your in the market for an the H1, this is the perfect one to invest in and customize the way you want. Its in very good condition and with new engine it has very little that needs to be done to it. It already has a good start at being one of the baddest rides out on the road.
