1997 F350 7.3 diesel 5 spd 4x4 i have done alot to this truck and would not hesitate to drive it anywhere.
things ive done to it. . 2" Lift 1999 sterling rear axle so it has disc brakes all around. rear hubs modified to keep the factory wheels. i moved the lugs toward the center and slotted the discs. detroit locker rear differential f450 hydraulic brake booster toyo open country tires (less than 1500 miles on them) banks big wheel turbo banks intercooler kit, with exhaust flap delete pedestal banks chip (140hp) custom phase 1 fuel injectors banks 4" ss exhaust all the way back. no muffler. custom HPOP (higher output) new single mass flywheel and HD clutch (less than 1500 miles) KC Daylighters new vac pump 2 optima red top batteries. the truck has 4.10 gears in it, its not fast, just strong as hell.
the dash just developed a small crack recently. the drivers door panel is loose. the seat is a bit worn where you slide in and out. . other than that is does everything you"ll ask of it and more.
