Vehicle description
1997 Ford F-350 4x4 Crew Cab 7.3 Power Stoke Turbo Diesel 5-Spd Manual O/D-HD Transmission XL 168" WB.
I understand that I"m the 2nd owner. The truck was sold new and lived in the Arvada, Colorado area. The first owner was a little older fella who pulled a little 5th wheel, it was not his daily driver. I"ve had the truck coming up on 10 years. The truck has always been kept inside or under cover. It is generally stock or un modified. I use it for about two or three trips a year so most of the miles are highway. Everything works as it should, starts, shifts, steers, stops very well. Since it"s a diesel I generally chug at about 2000 rmps. There are no oders or anything that needs attention. Currently it is due an oil change. I can"t find the repair bill at the moment however I had a few basic maintenance items done over the years include; All filters, fluids, some driveline ujoints, etc. Front brakes and rear drums pulled and checked or replaced. The fuel tanks were removed, cleaned and new sending/pickups installed. Tires and batteries. Modifications that I"m aware of are K&N air filter, brake controller, shift knob, locking fuel caps, box top covers now removed, fender to fender boards rear half currently removed for slide in camper tie downs, however the back half included in sale. I"m pretty sure that the paint is all original and never an accident. The doors and hood line up as should and close like a tailored velvet glove fits. Although the undercarriage has some oil on it like you may expect on trucks over 10 years old, it never leaks. I did have a rear upper sender that leaked, so possible from that or oil changes.
As nice as this truck is, it"s not new. The windshield has at least two minor chips (no visible cracks) The rear passenger headliner has a little sag for many years. At least one wheel has a little corrosion where the previous wheel weights were. The drive seat as a visible mark on it like a little coffee mark, however I don"t know what it is, never tried to clean it. The box is pretty scratched up, as the top of the box has some marks from the old box rails. I would state that the underside of the body, doors, fenders, box, and corners or cab corners are in amazing condition. Camper tie downs, visor rack, seat cover front hitch not included, although could possibly be left on.
I have many more pictures, but will be traveling so specific requests may be challenging. My mother or nephew could face time if desired. Here are two you tube videos of walk around and a little drive;

The miles are right around 110k to 112k. I just returned from a hunting trip in Colorado, the truck ran excellent, and started very well early in the morning 15 degrees.
Truck is Deep Blue Metallic with Opal Grey Cloth and Vinyl. Has Camper Package, Sliding rear window, Spare tire and wheel, Speed control/Tilt steering wheel, Air Conditioning, duel tanks, pivoting vent windows.
I have three boys and we use the truck for camping/hunting although the camper is getting a little tight for all of us so exploring a different path. I love the truck, I love the way it hums down the road. Steering is tight as it should be, four wheel drive, four low, clutch all works as it should. I"m really easy on my stuff and have a great mechanic for maintenance. I"m putting this out there as a no reserve auction, looking to sell. Based on the condition and low miles I"m commanding a premium from someone that loves the square body style 7.3. I personally prefer manuals, I prefer manually 4x4. I prefer crank up windows, etc for less problems and higher reliability. I do use AC, cruise, rear window, so for me the options are perfect. Don"t look to a used car guide for pricing guidance. Please don"t bother with an offer you hope to buy it at. Think high and overshoot for any chance to stop the auction. I don"t mean to come across arrogant, you simply can"t find 7.3 4x4 crew cabs that are unmodified and coddled. Besides the square body, you diehards realize that pre 01 years have the better engine connecting rods. The auction should run the distance, however of course I have the right to stop the auction. Although payment is required within 7 days, and must clear before pick up, the truck can remain in the garage for about 30 days. After that it could be kept in the driveway unless otherwise arranged to stay inside. Best to you!
