Vehicle description
Up for sale is my clean 97 E-350 diesel van. I am the third owner and have had it since 2008. This van has been the most dependable vehicle I have ever owned and I never thought I would sell it. With that being said, I am no longer racing motorcycles and have not used it nearly enough lately to justify keeping it. It has 261,900 original miles, and for those of you who know the 7.3, you will know that it"s just getting broken in at this point. I have driven it all over the country, pulled many trailers, and this van has never let me down. It was a perfect motovan for me and could be a perfect overlander / traveling / van life setup should the buyer want to go that route.
The Good: Everything works as it should, runs and drives well, always maintained on a regular basis Pulls any trailer with ease, hauls anything you can fit inside of it Averaged 17mpg highway Been in Florida its whole life, zero rust Clean CarFax No dents/serious body damage Superchips programmer 4" exhaust with stainless muffler GoodYear G949 tires with 60% tread 2" receiver hitch, 7 way plug and electronic brake controller JVC head unit with aftermarket door speakers, 10" subwoofer with JL Audio amp Removable carpeted storage box and wooden shelves on side doors Front windows have 5% tint, cargo area windows have been blacked out with vinyl from inside (removable)
Repairs/Maintenance Performed: All door cable ends have been replaced with aluminum ends, all doors work properly Roof seam sealer was ground out and replaced, roof professionally repainted with base/clear Water pump, radiator, vacuum pump, alternator and A/C compressor have been replaced Vacuum line to vacuum reservoir below heater box has been replaced HVAC blend door has been replaced Transmission professionally rebuilt 20k miles ago, shifts firm and smooth as it should 50 cent mod on UVC harnesses Just installed new batteries
The Bad: Drivers leather seat bottom has tears Power door locks do not work, not sure why not Has a few tears in cargo area headliner from loading/hauling motorcycles A few very light scratches here and there, minor enough that they would probably buff out with compound. Maybe a tiny ding or two if you go over it front to back, top to bottom. No such thing as mint condition on a 1997 van, but this one is as clean as you could ask for.
If you have any questions regarding things I haven"t covered in this description, please ask!
