Vehicle description
This is a great and clean truck, bought a few years ago in the Portland area with 134k on it. I flew in and drove it to Vegas the same day. Ran and drove great, only selling so someone can enjoy it because its just sitting at my house. When I bought this truck it was all original paint, interior and driveline, the only thing noticeable that had been doe was the front leveling spring and at some point it had a camper shell. Had the factory hub caps and 16.5 wheels, bedliner, radio etc. Pictures included of the day i bought it and rove it home.
My vision, first day home window tint, second some cosmetic work as I replaced the dash bezel, lens, bulbs, fuel tank switch just from age. Next, 35" tires and new Pro Comp Wheels because they fit. New tool box, speakers, small Kenwood powered subwoofer under the back seat, a pioneer head unit that has blue tooth for phone, apple car play and other features, you can connect a camera etc. . Sounds decent for what it is, have about $1k in sound system overall (its not big bass or anything crazy but hands free phone and other features are nice). Next was an oil change with filter, air filter, belts, plugs, wires, cap and rotor, fuel filter, pcv valve, thermostat and aluminum radiator. Nothing was wrong, just wanted the truck to be a good driver here in Vegas. Next was plan for the paint/body work, when i brought it home i had it detailed and my guy ripped off the molding which brought paint with it because he was sloppy. From there because of my color scheme I decided to order new unfinished grill and headlight bezels, new tinted headlights, tinted marker lights and signals, tinted tail lights, tinted 3rd brake light and LED bulbs for all so everything would/could be color matched to the new paint. I got rid of the factory drop in bed liner and the bed was in perfect condition, had the spray in liner done including over the rails at the same time as the paint job. There was/is NO rust, the only body work done was filler putty for rock chips, minor dings at the bed rail tops and deleting the F350 fender emblems, ALL very minor and minimal, there was flaking of the factory paint on the roof and one pillar and the tailgate had minor rust. I found a junkyard clean Las Vegas tailgate so it was installed and painted. While at it, the factory tailgate filler was ugly so I added the custom one pictured. With all of this it made sense to replace the bumpers, both are new. Rear step bumper is great, front is not so great. its got 2 dings and dosnt sit straight. The new work is within the last 6 months and the truck is just sitting at my house, we have more vehicles than we can drive. . Paint colors are 1997 factory white and body line is 2020 Ford Magnetic and the truck was painted by the world famous Cheyenne from Nefarious Customs, she was also on the hit series Vegas Rat Rods and a couple other TV shows. Newer battery (1 year or so) new read brake shoes and rotors last week.
I am very open and honest, the negatives/needs of the truck are as follows: dash pad has a couple minor cracks behind the stereo, the wing/vent window latches are faded (easily replaced/painted) interior door handles the same, faded (I ordered new aluminum handles but cannot find them), all power lock actuators could use a good lubrication (which i planned to do when removing the door panels to replace the handles), passenger side rear door window motor needs to be replaced, I have the motor and the door panel is off just have not gotten to it by the time of sale this might be done.
This truck runs and drives great, paint is 3 months old and i have not yet waxed it since the paint was new. I used spray can undercoating in each wheel well for asthetic reasons but the rest of the truck underneath can be seen that its all original not molested, factory finish with no leaks. The shocks look bad, repainted/rusted so i ordered new shocks which will come with or on the truck depending on my schedule. The muffler is magnaflow with a little rust and a small tailpipe so i a considering replacing both with flowmaster and 3" tailpipe
Thats it, she is a Beaut! Only selling because in 3 years including driving from Seattle to Vegas i have only put 3000 miles on it. .ask away and i will gladly answer questions.
