Vehicle Details You are bidding on 1997 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 LS Diesel 4WD. This truck is in very good condition, very well maintained. It was my personal transportation, I used it until recently. The truck still has New York State Inspection sticker from last year, which it passed without any remarks. It has all brand new tires, new batteries replaced a couple of month ago. It runs and drives absolutely perfect, which is normal for such a low mileage vehicle. The engine starts at single digit temperature without hesitation. The paint is original, this truck has never been repainted. This is a non-smoker vehicle. Original exhaust was replaced with 4-inch pipes. The original turbo, which I consider too small for such a big engine, was also replaced with a copy of Holset HX40, which after 8 years is still going strong. Brake job was also done recently. Front axle shift actuator was replaced with actuator from later model Silverado, which shifts much faster. Glow plugs was also replaced with original AC Delco plugs. The alternator is also original AC Delco 140 amps. Low beam headlights have LED bulbs. I bought it without the 3rd row seat, so I'm selling it as I bought. I am a retired automotive mechanic and a Diesel fan, and I took really good care of this truck. I tried to describe this vehicle to the best of my knowledge, but it's possible that I forgot to mention this or that. So, you are more than welcome to ask question.
