For sale is a 1996 Mercedes SL500 in red with a tan leather interior and has 110,351 miles. The vehicle is powered by a factory rated 322hp 5.0 liter V8 engine and has a 5 speed automatic transmission. It has power windows, power locks, power mirrors and a fully powered soft top (the hardtop is included too). The A/C blows ice cold and the heater works excellent as well. The stereo head unit has been upgraded to an aftermarket brand and the sound is great out of the Bose speakers and subwoofer. Recently, the transmission has gone into safe mode and is stuck in 2nd gear when put into drive. The cause is unknown but the vehicle is drivable and park and reverse still work.
