Vehicle description
Black/Black 1996 SAAB SE Turbo, 176K miles. Runs very well, everything works. Was my daughter"s daily driver until a month ago when she moved to the city, no longer needs a car. Has been well maintained, with records of every service back to 28K miles.
Best one-sentence description: car feels very solid and is a strong, fun driver for its 20yr age and 176K miles. Good cheap transportation, and A/C is ice cold.
The bad: it"s not perfect, I"ve shown the one area of body rust in the photos, at the rear wheel well, a break in the plastic rear window trim, and the underbody shots show a solid car with typical surface rust. Worst area is the spare tire well where a few of the drain holes have rusted. Aftermarket radio only works on one side. I"d love to hang on to it as an extra car car, but it would really just sit in my driveway; it needs someone to drive it.
I have owned for last 26K miles, and since my daughter was driving it back and forth to University of New Hampshire from CT, the car always got what it needed. Previous owner was fanatical about dealer maintenance, down to bulbs and blades.
New parts/service (with receipts )in last 25K miles includes: -4 New tires, NOKIAN Entyre 2.0, 6K miles ago -Intermediate pipe and rear muffler -Lt and Rt front axles and bushings -Alternator -O2 sensor -A/C charge -Water pump and radiator hose -Heater hoses -Idler pulleys, tensioner, and belt -Brake pads, discs, calipers, hard and soft lines as needed
