Vehicle Details Welcome to my auction for probably the only MGF in the USA, The MGF started production in late 95 and was exported globally with the exception of the USA due to a quota restriction on British car imports by the then administration . It has a mid engine configuration similar to Porsche with the 1800cc VVC Rover K series engine behind the the seats with plenty of room for storage in the trunk and hood. It was imported from a MG owner and specialist in the UK. With all taxes and duties paid and is ready to receive antique plates in which ever county it is registered. This car is a 1996 model and comes with a documented history file going back 18 years. With only 41000 genuine miles and we believe garaged for its life as does not suffer from the typical ravages of the English weather. The condition is fantastic and has not been molested in any way, The seats are part leather and my only observation is the driver seat has a small 1 inch split which can easily be repaired .The car comes with a detachable hard top with heated rear windscreen a normal manual hood, tonneau cover, workshop manual, certificate of authenticity from the factory , factory service pack and 15 years English omissions and safety check certificates which is an annual mandatory inspection by UK government inspections on every car on the road in England.The car has AC which is rare for an MGF.A lot of thought has been put into bringing this car to America and the car engine was subject to a comprehensive overhaul costing $2300 dollars in the spring to give the new owner peace of mind along with 90 pages of history and receipts with the following spares included as a safety net for future years.
