Hello, I"m selling my 1996 Ford Mustang Cobra. Yes, she"s a true Mystic. I bought her in August 2009 in NC. She moved with me to GA in 2009. She has been to MO, Fl, SC, NC, and GA throughout her time spent with me. She had 107k miles on her at the time when I bought her. When I was in HI from 2014-2017 she was put in a garage in NC and was driven less than 3,000 miles within those three years. I"ve owned her for twelve years and it"s time for her to move on to a new home. I have put 39k trouble free miles on her. The reason why I"m selling is because my family is growing bigger and I"m getting a bit older and it"s just time to move on. History on car: This car has a clean title, in hand. I"m the third owner. I still talk to the second owner from time to time; an elderly gentleman. I want to say that the first owner was a lady. I can confirm this through the second owner. I bought the car with the Pioneer stereo system in it, which will be replaced soon due to aging. I"ve also never seen this in any other SN-95. She has been in three accidents since I"ve owned her. All while parked. Yep, parked. One small bump in the parking lot while I was sitting in it; the front bumper was repainted. Another time, the car was backed into on the side of the road; driver door and driver fender repainted. Third time, the car had a rock hit it; hood and passenger side fender repainted. The spoiler/trunk was repainted in June-2017. All of the paint that has been repainted has a lifetime warranty from the Chevy dealership. All three incidents were covered under USAA. The rest of the paint on the car could use a nice buff job. The exterior of the car would be a 6/10. The interior would be an 8/10. Paint is super expensive, be sure to know what kind of car you"re buying before you buy. I have ALL receipts, documents, and SVT certificates for this car, it"s in a binder. Current modifications (with all paperwork and receipts): SCT dyno tuned (SCT 3000 tuner will be included with car) (281rwhp/279rwtq) by Kurgan Motorsports, C&L CAI, FRPP aluminum driveshaft, stage 2 transmission (street/strip combo, t45source.com, good for approx 500 horsepower / 500 torque), prothane transmission mount, spec stage 2+ clutch, spec aluminum flywheel, frpp clutch fork, frpp throw out bearing, goodyear gatorback belt, 255/40/17 nitto motive tires (60k mile rated tires; tires have less than 20k miles on them and I bought the extended warranty from discounttiredirect.com) on 17"x9" 1995 chrome cobra r wheels, gorilla locking lug nuts (have lug key), cobra valve stem caps, pioneer cd player and stereo system, frpp b springs, tokico shocks, tokico struts, bbk rear upper & lower control arms, steeda short throw shifter, flowmaster super 44"s catback, bbk off-road h-pipe, msd coil packs, msd plug wires, NGK plugs, 4.10 FRPP gears with complete rear-end rebuild and trick-flow cover, weld on full length subframe connectors, smoked foglights, headlights, side markers, and taillights with sequential turn-signals, silverstar ultra headlights and led foglights, steeda pcv oil separator, S281 spoiler, shorty antenna, tint (will be retinted), bullit pedals, performance amp battery terminals, s&r rear shock tower brace. Over $8,000.00 in modifications over the lifetime of the vehicle. I"ve had Fast Lane Motorsports, Pro Dyno, and Kurgan Motorsports work on her. I only take her to Ford or my local shop for small mechanical work. Some of the other mods I"ve put on myself. Other parts: I have the stock h-pipe with working 02 sensors and an autometer dual gauge pod that I"ll include as well as a few Cobra books. Condition of car: Besides a nice buffing I would say the overall condition of the car falls into the "very good" category per KBB. The interior is very decent too, besides a small tear on the driver side seat and some light scuffing on the steering wheel. The headliner is in immaculate condition. I have nothing to hide with this car and it"s also one of my daily drivers. With that being said, she isn"t in a garage. This is not a car-show-queen. Any and all types of problems with this car is handled immediately at my local shop. Mechanically, she"s all there, too, 10/10. You"re more than willing to have it inspected anywhere you"d like. USAA has my car valued at $12,700.00. Speaking of USAA, I pay less than $57 a month for full coverage on this vehicle. Also, the Mystic paint option was an $815 option back in 1996. She gets about 16 mpg"s per tank of gas. Cons: Paint could be buffed. Rear defrost no longer works. I had this fixed at Fast Lane Motorsports back in 2013. It"s stopped working in the past two years. The dome light works but does not have a bulb in it since I"m having a hard time finding a replacement bulb for it. The driver power seat motor is on its way out.
