This is the last time this vehicle will be available until January 2019 where it will run at the Russo-Steele classic car auction. I am the second registered owner of this actual mile rust free New Mexico Ford Bronco. While working at a Ford Dealership in Albuquerque, this vehicle was traded in. According to Car Fax (and verified by the original owner) it had only been driven about 1000 miles over a 10 year period. The interior was completely original but for the radio and the driver seat was ripped and torn. I was concerned that the car fax reported that the vehicle had minor damage reported by Car fax in 1997 but the older couple who had purchased it new claimed it had leaned against the side of a culvert after sliding off the road. I had the vehicle inspected by the shop foreman who is a Bronco expert and he convinced me this truck is the real deal. I purchased it and over the next year I began the task of restoring it to be a perfectly reliable driver. I started with the mechanics of the vehicle. The front end was loose so I discovered that the suspension system on that era of Ford trucks was notorious for premature wear so I had professionally installed a BDS 4" dual Radius Arm Lift with 5 new 33 x 12.5 Generals on 15 x 10 " rims. I also added Warn manual locking hubs, and a new "cat back" Flo-master exhaust system. I had the radiator, rear diff, transfer case, and transmission flushed and all serviceable items inspected. The main seal was seeping so I replaced that as well at the Ford Dealership. My goal was a road worthy every day driver that I could take anywhere. Mission Accomplished! Next I installed a kicker stereo system with a color coordinated carpeted sub box with Bluetooth, Pandora and I-heart built in. I spent $1000 to match the front seat in all aspects. It is great match but under close scrutiny the color is a 1/2 shade off. Looks great. I had a medium quality paint job done ($2500) .The result is exactly my intention. I pulled a large u haul from New Mexico to Atlanta with no issues. It used less than 1 quart of oil. I drove the vehicle back to Chandler Arizona where it is in a friends garage. I will be moving there in a couple of months. This is not a museum piece and is by no means perfect but it is a head turner and when I say it is a completely reliable no nonsense usable vehicle that goes down a smooth highway at 75 with one finger on the wheel, I mean it.The visors both look new but the flip lighted mirror hinges on both sides are broken but still work and look fresh and perfect. The driver side view mirror power adjust only works in 2 directions. The tailgate window moves slow in a couple of spots but functions as intended. The fed sticker in the doorjamb is gone due to previous repair but it was inspected by law enforcement and identifiable from multiple vin stamps elsewhere on the engine and frame. I have both sets of keys and the Bronco is also equipped with a theft lock ignition bypass system. Not much to worry about here! My photos are from my cell phone so, sorry. I am including a link to more photos via "dropbox". It is New Mexico titled and free and clear in my name. No kink or funny business on my end and I expect the same. I believe in under promising and over delivering. You will not be disappointed when you pick it up. Serious inquiries to five o five nine one seven two three three two.
