About this vehicle This 1996 Chevrolet Corvette is an original. The owner has had it for 3 years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for car shows. Vehicle Details This Grand Sport #855, is but only 1 of 6 from the 1000 produced with the same RPO’s (regular production orders) per the Grand Sport Registry. It has the ultra rare Red/Black interior plus the highly sought after Z51 Suspension Package. As one of the photos depicts, Hagerty Magazine listed the 1996 Grand Sport as one to collect for its future collectibility. The one shown in magazine also has the ultra rare red/black interior. Under my ownership of nearly 3 years, this Grand Sport #855, has never seen rain or snow. Only driven to local car show events, stored each year from November to April under cover in heated garage, fuel Stabilized, and Battery Tender connected. Spring of 2020, professionally detailed ($1100) with all swirl marks being eliminated then ceramic coated. Looking to show? Or drive anywhere? Look no further. Mechanically all systems are a go, interior lighting all good, power antenna works, never has been smoked in, interior still smells as new. Knowing this on my purchase, when A/C is turned on, it takes just under a minute for the air to divert through the upper vents. But does blow cold air without hesitation. Replaced the tires due to them being ‘dated’, had Nitto’s installed (200 miles now on them) from Jegs Performance. Replaced the ‘aftermarket’ battery which was present upon my purchase, with a new AC DELCO… Window Sticker in the photos will show clearly all the options #855 came with.
