Vehicle description
This car is hard to describe. It looks and drives great for the mileage, but needs a little work. Most people are shocked when they find out it has 175K miles on it. Lots of new interior parts. Within last 25k miles it had new larger tires, wheels, brakes, shocks, battery, pump, distributor, plugs, wires, radio head unit serviced( DR Dons in Texas), antennae motor, 2 new stainless brake lines, rotors, rear leaf spring, etc. The paint is in great shape, again for the mileage, but does have the normal road rash, scuffs and scratches. I believe it was a daily driver before i purchased it 10+ years ago. I"m selling it to make room in the driveway, it has been a great car and a lot of fun to drive. It handles very well, but does have a pretty rough ride, compared to newer sports cars. It has been trouble free and I would trust to drive it anywhere. Everything works on it, except below. It does have an oil leak and I believe transmission leak. They are small and slow to leak, but show up on the driveway.
Things that do not work:
Air conditioner. Years ago I had it recharged and it worked for a couple months, not sure if anything else at this point is wrong other than a leak.
Headlamp motors. I put 2 new motors on, but they were cheap imports and operate worse than the originals did.
A rear speaker has hum coming from it
Driver side window works, but does not stop in proper position at the top.
Check engine light was on for awhile, but hasn"t for a couple months now. I do not remember the code, but it had something to do with catalytic converter. I think I wasn"t driving it enough.
It has 2 remotes, but they are not working. They worked previously, may just be batteries.
Things that I was planning on doing:
rubber seals around doors and windows.
new rubber bushings on suspension.
new headliner on removable targa top. it was hanging down, so i pulled it off.
Drivers seat, it is pretty worn.
Included with car:
The other 2 stainless brake lines, didn"t get around to putting them in.
Set of factory service manuals, very handy!
New fuel filter Basic car cover, if I can find it!
