Vehicle Details 1996 Chevrolet Silverado C2500 2WD. This truck is in amazing condition inside and out. All original, no accidents or paintwork ever. We are the 3rd owners, the first owner had it until early 2008 or so and the 2nd owner was family owned until we purchase it. The truck is solid as can be, no evidence of rust anywhere. The only notable flaws in the body are a ding on the top of the tailgate, as well as a small paint chip on the bottom of the driver door, these are visible in the photos. The truck does has a few knicks here and there, but that is to be expected of a 25 year old vehicle. The paint is in excellent condition, no peeling or fading anywhere. It is a factory 2 tone truck in Victory Red with Olympic White, which is listed below in the RPO tag breakdown. The interior is in excellent shape in the factory Ruby Red cloth. No excessive wear or defects. Everything works just as it should, even the retractable service light on the firewall! The heat is hot and the A/C is ice cold. The previous owner installed a trailer brake which functions as it should. The engine is a 5.7L 350 with 4L60E transmission. No leaks or smoking, doesn’t consume and fluids, starts right up every time. It has been one of the most reliable vehicles we have owned. It is fitted with a 3.73 posi rear end from the factory. It has step bars, a soft tonneau, drop in bedliner, and 16” aluminum wheels added, all done by the previous owner as well. We have put around 10,000 trouble free miles on it in our ownership. We have done the front brakes, rotors and wheel bearings, Monroe Heavy Duty shocks all around, Weathertech floor mats and Cooper tires in the factory size around 4,000 miles ago. The truck has factory keyless entry, and power everything. I had planned to install a new soft tonneau, for aesthetic purposes, it functions as it should, just shows it’s age now. Everywhere this truck goes, it gets compliments, truly a survivor.
