Vehicle description

1996 Chevrolet Astro Cargo Van What’s been modified: 1.) Paint: The van was painted a few years ago in this “A-Team” themed style. 2.) Sliding Door: Originally the van had a window in the sliding door. The body shop welded it in so the window did not interfere with the new pain job. 3.) Front End: The front end was updated with the newer grill and headlights. 4.) Auxiliary Lighting: Several auxiliary lights were added to the van to match the A-Team van from the TV show. There are four lights mounted on the roof, two in the bumper valance, two more mounted on the “push-bar” and finally two backup lights in the rear bumper. Damage: 1.) I ran into a steal guide wire which pushed the “push-bar” back into the plastic grill. Superficial damage. 2.) Passenger side fog light in bumper is damaged. 3.) Outside door handle broke off. Door still opens from inside. 4.) Engine light is on. No catalytic converter installed. 5.) No Air Conditioning. I replaced the compressor a while ago but then the AC went out again. Was told it’s probably the condenser but I didn’t want to put any more money into it at this point. 6.) I might be missing a few other little things, but this is what irritates me on a daily basis. Both the engine and transmission have been replaced in the van. The engine came from a GMC Jimmy and that was done prior to my purchase. Have never had an issue with the engine. Runs like a scared rabbit. The transmission was replaced within the last year. I let the fluid run dry. The shop that replaced the transmission said the new transmission had less than 100,000 miles on it. Again, since the replacement, I’ve never had an issue with the transmission. This vehicle is in good condition for what it is. So, what is it? It’s a solid work truck that will turn a few heads. Feel free to contact me with questions. Bid with confidence. The $200 deposit is NON REFUNDABLE.
