Vehicle description

It"s time for me to get rid of my awesome family wagon which has served as a great daily driver for us for six years. It’s a 1996 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon "Collector Series" with 149xxx original miles . I am the third owner of the vehicle; I bought it from a farmer in Illinois with 57,000 miles on it. He garaged it after buying it from a dealer who got it from an older man who passed away. As it’s been our family’s daily driver, I’ve tried to maintain it in as best of shape as possible. It has every option (including tow package) with exception of the heated mirrors and heated seats. I replaced the original white stripe tires for better all-weather tires (Michelin LTX-MS2’s). For those of you new to this type of GM car, this car has the LT-1 Corvette engine that was de-tuned to produce 256 horsepower. I"ve averaged 25 MPG on my highway trips to car shows with city mileage being like any other car, roughly 16 mpg. We"ve taken several coast-to-coast road trips in it, and it"s like sticking your living room sofa into a boat- smooth sailing! I’ve put much love and care into this car, and have often hunted around the country for spare parts (try finding the rear pop-out glass bolt and screw assembly! ) This car runs and drives wonderfully. I hate to have to sell it but our family has outgrown it. Although I’d love to hold onto this one, it’s time to make space in the garage. I have the original owner’s manual and maintenance records. Recently replaced are: -Wiper sprayer pump (August 2017) -New water pump (July 2017) -New ignition, relays, spark plugs and electrical (July 2017) -New power antenna (2017) - New serpentine belt (2017) - Complete transmission rebuild (July 2016) - New blower motor (2016) -Monroe Pneumatic shocks (2014) -Brake lines (2015) -Gas lines (2014) -Tires (2015) -Windows tinted (2014) Everything else is original and in working order The “bad” things (see photos): -Small surface rust spot on rear vertical near window glass -Surface rust inside rear gate -Dent on front right fender -A/C needs recharge
