Vehicle description
1996 Acura Integra. 4-door coupe. 5 speed manual transmission. Not V-TEC . Garage kept until a few months ago when it was "displaced". 258,956 miles. Had routine maintenance all performed by me including clutches, water pump, timing belt, etc.
Original owner with all purchase paperwork from dealer purchase (Acura of Ramsey) and maintenance records that I kept. Never in an accident. One small dent on front right fender from a "garage mishap".

Family car, never abused. Just got tired of the repairs, so I bought a newer Honda.
Comes with factory all owners manual and factory service manuals and 4 keys.
New parts in the last year:
Rear tires, fuel injectors, both oxygen sensors, distributor cap, distributor rotor, ignition wires, spark plugs, rear brake pads, fuel filter, cat-back exhaust.
Runs well overall, but I don"t want any misunderstandings so I"m listing every problem that I know about. I view it as a restoration project car, not a daily driver right now. Don"t ask me to fix anything or what it will cost. You can give it a full inspection, test drive it, and make your decision. Still has plate and insurance for test drives.
Issues that I know about:
- Some hesitation under load (hence the recent ignition and fuel system parts). Compression is great (even and high). Valves clearances are correct. Throws a Cyl 3 misfire code every few weeks.
- Trip odometer doesn"t work.
- Radio antenna does not go down all the way.
- ABS light comes on occasionally, usually after about 45 minutes. Goes off for the next trip. Code was built in test failure of pump run time exceeding 90 seconds between ABS use.
- Front hood release sticks
- Paint on top surfaces is worn. I covered front hood with 3M patterned vinyl since I didn"t want to repaint the car. - small dent on front right fender (see pictures).
- Small rust spot above back driver side tire (see pictures).
- Small leak in brake system. Need to top up master cylinder once a month.
- Moisture in the headlights.
It"s hard to price this car since it"s so rare to find a one-owner Integra that"s 22 years old with no accidents and all the paperwork. On the other hand, it has some issues. I"m listing it to start at $1500 with no reserve.
