We never got the turbo diesel version nor the SSR-X trims here in the U.S., but this one is now legal to drive here and it"s fully registered. This one also comes in the highest trim for the Hilux Surf SSR-X line (SSR-X Limited Wide). These offer world renowned reliability and are known to go over half a million kilometers with ease and are actually used as military vehicles in some parts of the world. This is the perfect SUV to either take the family around in an awesome JDM SUV or to go off-roading and/or camping since it has an active 4x2 and 4x4 toggle system along with interior cabin dynamics to go over moderate inclines. This surf also comes with oversized all-terrain Dunlop tires to give the driver security when going on spirited driving either on or off-road. There"s also a full sized extra spare tire and rim mounted to the rear door. This Hilux Surf is in excellent condition overall and the car was recently serviced with fresh Amsoil 15W-40 heavy duty turbo diesel engine oil that should be good for another 10,000 miles / 16,000 kilometers, and only has 137k miles translating to a mere 5.5k miles per year which is very low for a turbo diesel rig.
