Vehicle description
Up for sale is my daily driver. I"ve been driving this for almost a year now, and I really don"t have any complaints. I have to sell it because I"m moving and won"t need a car. I bought this car to get better fuel economy ($19-$21 to fill up) and a fantastic car in the snow.
The car has a few small problems. There is a spiderweb crack in the windscreen (quoted $200 installed at safelite). I think the exhaust heat shield under the car is rattling (not a problem really, just annoying). The handbrake works just fine, but sometimes the cable doesn"t catch when you pull it up. New lights need to be installed in the climate control panel. There"s rust starting on the left rear quarter panel, and rust present on the right rear quarter panel as shown in the pictures. Some clear coat fading on hood, fenders, and roof also pictured. Front passenger side doors weather stripping is coming off (brand new factory Subaru weather stripping included)
None of the gears grind and the clutch is nice and smooth. The previous owner installed an aftermarket head unit and speakers which sounds really nice. I will include the factory radio and CD player in the sale if you prefer to use that. Also included in the sale are new brakes all around (current brakes are just fine). The car has never had a problem starting, even in the polar vortex we had here just a short while ago.
If you"re looking for basic transportation that gets great fuel economy, great in the snow, and cheap to operate, then this is the one.
