About this vehicle This 1995 Mercedes-Benz E420 is an original. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. Vehicle Details For sale is my 1995 Mercedes Benz E420 with 116k original miles. This car is a relatively rare car with roughly 15,000 400E/E420's being brought to the USA from 1992 to 1995, and only 1548 being built for the world in 1995. This car features the great Mercedes M119 4.2L V8 making a healthy 286 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. This car also has some rare options, such as heated front seats, traction control (ASR), and rear reading lights. This car spent most of its life before my ownership in Pennsylvania, and thus does have some minor rust showing on the front fenders. The rear fender liners also had rust that has been repaired. Overall, the car runs great, drives smoothly, and has lots of power! The A/C blew cold as of this summer, and the heat blows warm! Some recent work that I have done includes: - Spark plug wires - Ignition caps and rotors - Center steering drag linkage and steering damper As with any car of this age, the car does have a few issues that do not affect the driveability, such as: - The coolant light stays on, but the car does not leak any coolant, and the level is not low (probably just needs a new sensor if I had to guess). - The passenger side front window does not roll down. - The headliner is starting to sag above the rear seats. - The radio powers on but has not worked during my ownership. I have not looked into this as the car was used mainly for weekend drives/cruises. - The external temperature display has burned out. - As with all original paint Brilliant Silver W124's, the clear coat has begun to degrade and needs to be repainted. I'd like to note that the car does still get driven occasionally, and the mileage may increase slightly. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.
