Vehicle description

Rumored to have been the Miller Brewing Company car for the first ten years of its life. I picked this 1995 S Class up about 3 years ago. However, its now time to let it go. The good. No rust other then a small spot on the front fender drivers side, pass side front fender has a small dent. (see pic) Runs great, does not use any oil. Throttle body was rebuilt about two years ago. Battier was replaced last summer. Fan clutch replace two years ago. Full tune up. Both caps and rotors, plugs and plug wires. Engine harness replaced before I got the car. New blower motor (last summer) Tires last summer. They have about 7 to 8 k on them The soft door close works (drivers’ door will stop sometimes then start working again) Oil changed last week. Rear and front seat heaters work. The not so good. Ok so this is a 23-year-old car and it has some flaws. A/C does not work. Its holding freon the compressor is not engaging It’s a 23-year-old car and I would call this a 10-footer. It has its share of scratches and door dings, and a little orange peel on the roof. The sun roof head liner is coming off as well. The rest of the head liner is fine. Needs a wheel speed sensor. The sensor quit working at the start of the summer. So, the speedo is not working. That also caused the ABS and the ASR (trac control) to come on. The miles at the time of this where 128000. My guess is I’ve went about 2000 miles since this has happened. (This was not an everyday car for us) The front suspension squeaks. The front is tight noting is loose. But on hot days it will squeak going over bumps. The brakes also squeak. It has good pad life left and these do not have squeakers on them (they have a light that warns you when the pads are low) But at times they squeak. Only one head light wiper works but neither of them spray. The oil level light is always on. This is the light that tells you if your getting low. It does not use oil, but the light is always on. It needs a new level sensor. That I think I have. Random check engine light. For the three years I’ve had this car the check engine light comes on at times. Its never had a drivability problem with the light on. So, I just clear it. (this is pre OBD2 so disconnecting the battier for a few minutes does it) and I keep driving it. This car was brought to me three years ago for work, I used to be a Mercedes mechanic. The guy did not want to fix it and I did not want to see it rust away in his yard or go to the junk yard. While these are never going to be million-dollar cars. They’re getting harder to find in good shape. NADA still puts the value of this car at $8000.00. its not a perfect car, but then again, I’m not asking perfect car money. It’s what I would call a very good 23-year-old Benz that could be a perfect car with a little work.
I could not get all the pics to load, If you would like pics of the small rust spot and small dent please let me know and I"ll send them to you.
