| “If you ever wanted an older unmolested Mazda MX-5 Miata, this might be the one for you. It is bone stock down to the original cassette player (still works!). The only thing added is a front end mask to protect the front end from rock chips. Wheels, drive train, body, all original.This is the first year for the 1.8 liter engine which gives it a bit more punch than the earlier 1.6 engine. If you've never driven a Miata you're in for a pleasant surprise...they are just about the most fun thing on four wheels. They are just a blast to drive. You feel like you're going faster than you are because of the small size, and yet are great for long road trips, as we did a couple years ago on the windy roads of British Columbia.This was originally owned by a doctor, I believe I'm the second owner. It has the Montego Blue color that has a candy apple green effect when the sun hits it just right, which looks kinda cool. I've always kept it covered in the garage.It has a little over 153,000 .” |

This is the first year for the 1.8 liter engine which gives it a bit more punch than the earlier 1.6 engine. minor flaws: small repaired tear on back of passenger seat small touched up scratch near driver"s side mirror small blemishes here and there on body not overall noticable, Mazda didn"t use the hardest paint on these. I also put a sheepskin seat cover on the driver"s side as there is a small wear spot on the side of the seat, I wanted to keep it from wearing further. In summary, this is a great little fun to drive car and I"ve done my best to keep it in original condition. Also it is now officially a classic as it just turned 25 years old!
