Offeredhere is a 1995 Ex-UK MoD Land Rover Defender 110 in Left Hand Drivewith only 31k miles (50k Km). The truckhas spent most its life in the South of France which has resulted in it stillhaving the original rust free chassis and the original 11J engine with very lowmileage, that runs fabulously. Original LT77 5 speed gearbox and originalLT230 transfer box. Thevehicle has been legally imported from the UK. It was inspected with a full UK MoT completed and noadvisories. It is currently in San Diego, CA under my possession with allthe import documentation required to register it in the USA. I am unableto register it locally due to CA SMOG laws, therefore please be aware of thisbefore offers. It is available for any inspection and professionalmechanical checks at your own expense. Test drives are welcome. Body: Allpanels look original with no rust on any panels of the body, including thedoors, footwells and battery box. The paintwork needs refinishing as itseems to have had multiple different paint colours; Desert Brown, Red and thenfinally NATO green, but paint is starting to peel from many areas. Some panels have minor imperfections with dents anddings in several areas (see images). The chassis is sold with no visual signs of rust that would cause any weakness to the structure. What can be seen is purely on the surface. Seats are fine and have no rips ortears. Rear doorcard is ripped and would need replacing. All basicelectrics work fine, such as; lighting and horn. Windows are the slide backstyle and doors are simple with no doorcards. Drivetrain: It drivesbeautifully with no abnormal noises from the engine or boxes and has goodpulling power and doesnt seem to have lost any power since new, but with suchlow mileage that would be expected. Not burning any oil or losing water. Tires have Over 10mm of deep tread. I holdthe British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate that authenticates theequipment fitted to the truck and verifies the VIN No.SALLDHAC8MA/958889.
