1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.2 L Sport Utility V8 4x4 ORVIS EDITION . RARE ( PLEASE ONLY SERIOUS BIDDERS )
Selling this beautiful Jeep because I get it from a trade and I need the money, is a very nice Jeep with a lot of extras on it, New A/C compressor , rough country long Arm 6 inches suspension lift, new radiator, Custom RHINO LINER WITH BASE COAT AND FLAT CLEAR FINISH EXTERIOR, Camo headliner and much more, big tires, 4x4 works good, the engine is very strong and smooth, transmission was recently rebuilt, previous owner put more than 8 K put on this Jeep, the car runs rough, tires make some loud noise when windows are open, it"s a normal noise when you put this kind of tires, the Jeep turns heads everywhere it goes, interior is in good condition overall, the front seats have some tears I wanted to put some camo covers but I decided just let the buyer decide what to do, the inside top is done in camo as well, the floor rug was removed and it got some kind of sealing product, center console was removed as well, it does not have a radio but you will get the car with a radio, it has the rear passenger side door stocked, it looks like something inside got loose and is not making the job to open it( easy fix ),car has 152500 k miles, even though the Engine was rebuilt like 3 years ago, this person had this jeep in his farm just to ride around every once in a while, he told me he bought it in 2009 and spent all this amount of money in extras and drove the car less than 20 k miles in all these 11 years, I drove the car and it"s a nice ride, people looking at it and thumbs up mainly young people, i"ll replace the headlights because these ones are old already, the Jeep comes with the Cover and some other covers that I don"t have any idea what are they for, I guess they can be to cover the tires I don"t know, also brings some other items, please see pictures for details. Tires are good but the one on the front driver"s side, i"ll try to replace it. Please if you have any question don"t hesitate in asking me.
( I also have some videos of the car running and all around it )
Thank you and good luck.
On Jul-26-20 at 15:20:18 PDT, seller added the following information: ! ! THIS IS A 1995 JEEP GRAND CHEROKE ORVIS EDITION. ! !
Jeep’s 4.0-liter straight six rated at 190 horsepower was standard. The optional engine was a 220-horse 5.2-liter V-8. The Orvis came with Jeep’s Quadra-Trac full-time four-wheel-drive system as part of the deal, along with the Up Country Suspension Group that added upgraded hardware and tires, skid plates, and tow hooks. All Grand Cherokees were facelifted for 1996, and the Orvis Edition detailing was tweaked. Outside, the new body cladding lost the accent-color stripes, and there was a fresh wheel design. Inside, the Grand Cherokee’s updated interior received subtle revisions to the tan-and-green color scheme. Moss Green continued as the lone exterior color. The last of the Orvis Grand Cherokee specials came in 1997. In addition to Moss Green, buyers could choose a silvery metallic called Light Driftwood Satin Glow. Various sources give the following production totals for the Grand Cherokee Orvis Edition: 1995, 10,020 ; 1996, 2341; 1997, 2733. We were not able to locate any reviews of the Orvis Edition in our collection of period magazines. However, in the March 1993 Car and Driver , Patrick Bedard compared a Laredo V-8 to a Swiss Army knife and a pair of Timberland boots, making the point that the Grand Cherokee combined “well, you never know . . .” capability with the ability to make a fashion statement. That might be an even more apt description of the Orvis.
