Ford F-150. This truck was purchased new in Georgia where it stayed for 9 years. The truck came to Maine where it was put into a heated storage facility for the next 14 years and only used in the summer for approximately 400 miles each year until I purchased it 4 years ago. It now has 78,000 miles on the clock and still in like new condition. I was told at the time when I purchased it that the paint was all original and in great condition. The truck was in a accident in a parking lot where it was backed into on the passenger side rear quarter between the rear wheel and the rear bumper. I got an estimate for the repairs for about $1300 and it was turned into the insurance company, so this is why the car facts shows an accident. I told my body shop guy to go ahead and fix the damage, he took the truck to his shop and after close inspection he called me to say he wanted to try a guy he knew and used often to push the dent out. He did an amazing job with what I thought most likely wouldn’t work. I have taken pictures of this area for your inspection. I walk by this truck everyday and wonder how he got that dent out with this kind of results. He did an amazing job and the result is it still has not been painted or even touched up to my knowledge. Front fuel tank gauge doesn’t register on the dash and the cruise control isn’t working at this time. Everything else works as it should.
