Vehicle description
West coast truck, NO rust at all! One of a kind unmolested 12 Valve extended cab with low miles. These trucks are hard to come by. This truck was purchased about a year ago and was going to be my daily driver. I intended to keep this truck the rest of my life but life has it turns. I say all of this to let you guys know I put the money into this truck in order for it to last. We all know nothing is for free and you get what you pay for.
Enough said: This is what I have upgraded on the truck and all I ask is my money back.
1. I have changed all of the fluids.
2. I have replaced the serpentine belt.
3. I have repaired the killer dowel pin issue.
4. I have bumped up the fuel plate to 215 hp all is still original. Before I did this the truck was so under powered. I think it was 195 hp and it wouldn"t get out of its own way. Runs pretty stout now. The intake and turbo is still original also.
5. I had the valves looked at and the Diesel mechanic said the the truck is just now breaking in and it wont need to have the valves adjusted until it gets 150,000 miles on it.
6. I had the entire breaking system rebuilt. Yes that include the rotors ceramic pads all of the calipers and even the rubber hose that connects to the metal break line. All of the fluid was purged and replaced in the entire system. It stops on a dime now. I had planed on haling cattle and a camping trailer with this truck and I did not want any issues stopping.
7. I had the original transmission rebuilt with and upgraded to a solid billet torque converter with duel clutches and all the works. This thing is a beast, the torque converter alone weighed over 100# without fluid. This thing wont have any issues pulling a house down.
8. I had upgrades to the cooling system for the transmission I installed a oversized radiator and a bypass to the system so that the transmission wouldn"t over heat if the trucks idled over a long period of time. This was an issue with the older trucks. You can view the transmission radiator in the pictures. Its the one with the blue hose going to it while the hood is up.
9. I installed brand new NITTOS TRAIL GRAPPLER M/T LT 285/75R16 all the way around this truck and they are incredible. I have never experienced a quieter ride with such an aggressive tread in my life it was worth $1200.00 bucks I spent on them. I have less than 500 miles on the tires currently.
10. I ordered a new high tinsel strength Goose neck ball for the truck. The truck is set up with a nice frame mounted hitch and a goose neck system.
