1995 K2500 Diesel Suburban with Nv4500
This truck is mechanically in great shape, I trust it more than my new F250. Motor, drive train, suspension, brakes are all in very good condition. Anything worn out has been replaced using GM or Napa parts. It runs, drives and operates well but at the end of the day its still a 25 year old truck, that being said, i would drive it across the country anytime with out hesitation.
Mods-GEP / Navistar motor. Arp head studs. HX40w Turbo. 4" Exhaust. Raptor fuel pump. Braided SS larger fuel supply line. Fuel pressure, egt, boost gauges. Quadstar tune. Nv4500 5 speed manual transmission- looks factory. Changed the column, cluster and pedals. K47 air box. Dual fuel filters on frame rail. S.S. oil cooler lines. Brand new 800cca batteries. Almost everything works like it should. Zero major leaks, truck drives and runs like it should.
Defects/issues- Ac needs to be charged, it has a leak. It comes with all new ac parts ( expect lines).Hood paint is chipped and fading. Tiny dent in driver side rear panel. Rear barn door has rust bubble on bottom lip. The passenger side rear door and fender are not original, and paint doesnt match perfectly. I was a cheapo /backyard paint matching job. Over all the truck looks good from far but the paint is 25 years old. The wheels are H2 wheels and are pretty beat up. Driver side rear door doesn"t lock / unlock with power locks, have to manually lock or unlock it.
