Vehicle description
Vehicle Details This is a road-legal rally race car with a clean NY title. It's a real M3.Would consider trades for (road cars): E46/E90 M3s, STIs, Evos, E39/E60 M5s, or similar. This car has raced NEFR 2019, SOFR 2020, ShowMe 2020, NYFR 2020, and 100AW2021. It's been written about by yours truly many times on Jalopnik and on Road & Track's website and print magazine. It's largely been the rally education car for myself and my codriver. It's currently on Bilstein HDs in the front and in need of shocks for the rear. To get it race-ready, it just needs those shocks (which I may do myself if I find time) and a fire suppression kit to meet the new ARA ruling. Aside from some other minor buttoning up (need to reattach that corner light and tidy up the front end body panels), it's ARA-logbooked and good to go. SFI harnesses just expired. Speed sensor is a little wonky, sometimes displaying the wrong speed. Would possibly also recommend doing rear wheel bearings, just because. It has a massive, very solid, custom-mounted skid plate by Broken Motorsports' Billy Petrow, a solid cage built by CageThis Bill (could use a repaint), Sparco Sprint Seats, a TerraTrip (i think) intercom, a helmet net, spare wheel tiedown, fire extinguishers, and the other necessary rally goods. It has an assortment of other aftermarket suspension bushings and bits. There is no handbrake. It's a proper WBS-vinned M3 with a very solid S50 under the hood. Never had any drivetrain or cooling issues.Aside from shocks, I've never had any mechanical issues with this car. Great beginner rally car or a great base for a solid competitor.
