Vehicle description
This is your opportunity to own a piece of automotive history unlike anything else on the market.
This 1994 Mazda (or Eunos, as it was branded in Japan) Cosmo was manufactured only in Japan. This is a Series II edition of the Cosmo, which is much harder to find as they were produced in very limited quantities from 1994 to 1996. Furthermore, this car has the coveted 20B engine, the only mass-produced model to come from the factory with it. All in all, there were less and 400 Series II 20B Cosmos produced, escalating the significance of this example.
Furthermore, this Cosmo has the Japanese VIN number of JCES100007, indicating it is one of the earliest Series II models produced - a collector"s dream!
The VIN is listed as all "1"s in the item specifics because the VIN is not an american one. A picture of the VIN plate is included for verification.
There are very few modifications to this nearly 100% stock car. Tasteful modifications include aftermarket springs, BBS wheels, and an aftermarket intake. In addition, the head unit is not the OEM player. To pass the strict car inspections for registration in Japan, the ABS was deleted from this car. The loss of ABS has had no effect whatsoever on the car"s driving experience. I cannot identify any other modifications to the car.
It is in miraculous condition for it"s age, as the pictures clearly indicate! The only known issues with the car are that the drivers side window switch recently stopped working and the head unit with mini-disc player (how many of these have you seen!?) does not function. Other than those two items, the car functions very well and there is nothing else amiss to my knowledge. It has the stock 4-speed transmission. I also recently had the oil changed and had a mechanic"s inspection where they admired how great of condition it is in and found no issues with anything in the car.
The mileage listed is approximate and was used as calculated from kilometers on the meter. The car displays 87,xxx kilometers for total mileage equating to approximately 54,xxx miles.
I legally imported this car from Japan under the 25 year rule and it is currently registered in the state of Florida. I have no evidence or knowledge of this car ever being involved in an accident. When buying the vehicle in Japan, there were no accident reports provided from the dealer.
This classic, beautiful, one-of-a-kind car is sold as-is. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ship or pick-up the car. I assume no responsibility for any issues that take place after the buyer (or the buyer"s shipping company, if not picking it up directly) has taken possession of the vehicle.
If paying by check, I accept cashier checks ONLY. No personal checks will be accepted. The check must clear before I will relinquish possession of the vehicle.
