Vehicle description
S1 V8 from a 1999 Trans Am has been installed in a 1994 Jag. It has nice leather interior. Most of the wood on the dash and doors has been replaced. Nice canvas top. Brand new Gorgeous BBS styled 17" mesh wheels with new Firestone Wide Oval GT radials ($1200). It has the worst paint job I have ever seen on a car, and I still get stopped everywhere I go so people can oogle over this handsome car! Factory RED XJS"s are very rare! ! It has a rebuilt title. It appears to have had the left front fender replaced. I think it needs front subframe replaced as well as the drivers front tire rubs when backing up. I have replaced the lower control arm and installed new suspension bushings, ball joints and mounts. The subframe is the same as xj6 from the 1980"s. I have such a near complete XJ6 parts car with title for another $300. The subframes alone are about $300 on ebay. It has a really nice interior, a strong motor, sharp wheels, and tires, nice top w a glass back window. The stereo is upgraded and has an amplifier in the back. Car is located in south Denton. I have too many projects. . but trades still considered. Once the ecu is remapped this will be a scalding fast car with style, grace, comfort, and performance, and the top goes down to chase the sun! 1994 has the rear brakes on the outside, not like the early cars; they are much easier to work on. Diff is Dana. It would cost $8500 plus to convert an XJS to a LS1 ! ! Once you see and drive this car, you will understand why this is one of the best motor swap combinations of all time. People drop their jaws when you open the hood and see an LS1. . . looking for 6 liter Suburban or Yukon XL. Respond with your phone number and I will call you back.
