Vehicle description
About this vehicle This 1994 Honda Civic is a modified vehicle with updates to the drivetrain. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle runs great. Vehicle Details Hello, here is a 1994 Honda Civic CX in pretty good condition. I bought it with the original D15B8 which was locked up. So, I installed a complete running B18B1 engine swap out of a 1994 Acura Integra LS. The engine swap has 244k original miles on it. While the motor was being swapped, I replaced any all neccessary gaskets and seals on the engine, performed a routine Valve Adjustment, and new timing belt. Running a factory P75 ECU. New parts: Valve cover gasket Camshaft seals Front crank seal Updated fel pro oil pan gasket Oil pump o ring seal that goes from the oil pump feed hole to the block New oil pump pickup gasket Rear cam seal Exhaust manifold gasket Header back exhaust Throttle body gasket Intake filter Distributor NGK spark plugs Oil change with filter 10w-30 Inner/outer tie rods 8 month old battery Synchromesh transmission fluid Antifreeze Oem B series half size radiator Radiator Fuel filter Full Disclosure: everything I can think of Speedometer works maybe about 30% of the time, common failure on these where the soldering joints lose have weak connections. The exterior body of the car is pretty straight and rust free. I did noticed some previous body work on the passenger rear qaurter panel. The interior is completely all original, down to the stock Honda Radio. Since it is a CX model, which is stripped down, it only has 2 front speakers in the doors. The left speaker does not work. The radio does work. The top of the steering wheel is pretty worn, the passenger rear seat belt buckle does not work, the driver side rear seat belt is stuck all the way out. There are stains on the front and rear seats, and on the carpet here and there. Either the rear hatch seals or the tail lights gaskets leak a litte bit of water when you wash it. The front inner and outer tie rods are brand new. There is some front end noise when you go over rough roads or bumps, sound like the right upper control arm bushings to me. Car drives straight and smooth at 70-100mph on a smooth highway. Theres a rattle in the rear hatch area when going over bumps. The exhaust is very raspy when revving up, as there is no cat, no resonator, and a stock muffler off of a 98 Honda Crv. New 2.25” pipe ran from the flange bolted to the header to the muffler. Sounds stock when at cruising throttle. Both side view mirros manual adjustments are broken, and the driver side mirror glass is cracked down the middle. Overall the car cranks right up, no knocks, or ticks. Runs great, drives straight, and shifts smooth. Motor does blow some puffs of smoke when you are really getting on it (244k original miles) The heater works great, but AC does not blow cold. Clean North Carolina title in my name in my hand, no Liens. * * Car sale is AS-IS NO WARRANTY* * Call or text if you would like a video of the car running. Thanks for looking!
