This car was originally an Arizona car, stored in an environmentally controlled storage unit. I have owned the car for 5 years, and put around 18,000 miles on it since I received it. It has always been put away in storage when the weather got bad in the fall and does not get pulled out until the weather is beautiful and all of the salt is off of the roads. As far as I know this car has never seen bad weather. I have been caught twice in the rain.I am a automotive repair shop owner and master mechanic, and this car has been my baby. No cracks in any of the plastic on the interior or dashboard, and the seats have no tears or rips. This Del Sol comes with a factory original bra. As far as I know the bra has been on it since it was brand new. The paint is all original, never a speck of body work done to it. There is zero damage under the bra, and the paint is still beautiful but in the condition you would expect it to be in after being under a bra for 26 years. The two front and the rear window have a nice medium dark tint. I run Mobile One synthetic oil exclusively in the block. Within the last year I have replaced the valve cover gasket and replaced the little plastic cam cap that always leaks with an aluminum replacement. The car has no leaks of any fluids. slave and master cylinder for the clutch were replaced when I first received the car. Timing belt was inspected at the time I replaced the valve cover and showed no signs of wear and still looked brand new. Within the last 7000 miles it has received new tires, brake pads and rotors on all four corners and a caliper has been replaced on the right rear wheel. The only modification made to the engine has been a cold air intake, I also have the original air box and ductwork along with a K&N performance filter in that box. All electrical and mechanical operates flawlessly. Front windows and rear window work perfectly. Removable top comes in and out easily and is also in perfect condition. The original factory radio has been placed with a Boss Bluetooth 4-channel stereo system with backup camera. All four speakers have been replaced within the last year. I have two extra speakers that are brand new in the box and will also come with the car. Air conditioning is ice cold as I check the charge in it every spring. The headlights, fog lights, license plate lights and interior lights have all been replaced with LED's. I have also installed some aftermarket amber LED fog lights for better visibility in rain and snow. The third eye brake light still has all of the LEDs illuminated. This car starts, runs and drives like new. It gets a fine polish two or three times every summer and the paint is shiny and beautiful. At this point in time there are no mechanical or drivetrain flaws, it is absolutely amazing. The body has a couple of nicks and dings but is absolutely gorgeous. The trunk is as clean as you would expect it to be, spare tire and tire changing tools are all in place. Now for the "cons". Picture #12 shows the only rust on the car and it has not changed since I have owned it. It is on the left rear quarter and is about an inch long. The power antenna does not work, but I always stream my music and do not even have the antenna hooked up to the back of the radio. I hate commercial radio. The floor mats are factory original and still in decent shape, but they are not as nice as the rest of the car. Exterior Interior Engine Download the Motors app
