I"m the second owner and have owned this beautiful truck for the last 12 years. However, life circumstances have dictated it"s time to let her go to a new home. You"re correct, GMC never built a Harley Davidson Edition but why allow Ford owners to have all the fun? I built what I personally wish GM had made; something that I believe looks like a factory built GMC Harley Davidson Edition 1/2 ton truck. The truck has been repainted and the wheels replaced with 17" V-Drive chrome wheels covered with BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A tires with 23,000 miles on them. Transmission was replaced 18,000 miles ago and there"s 25,000 on the rebuilt motor. I"ve installed new Spyder Euro headlights, LED taillights and a new headliner. I recently replaced the radio with a bluetooth, JVC radio and replaced all factory speakers with JVC speakers. The dash was beginning to crack so it was also replaced. I"ve kept all repair receipts in the white binder that"s pictured along with a detailed book of mileage each time I filled the truck up with gas. Both will be supplied to the buyer. I drive this truck regularly and there are some imperfections: small paint chips, a stain on the rear seat that I"m not sure will come out or not and the chrome wheels are beginning to show some pitting in the chrome.
I"ve only purchased one vehicle on E-bay and was nervous about purchasing a vehicle without having it looked at closely by a mechanic. I want all bidders to have the assurance that they know what they"re getting. If you"re the winning bidder, please feel free to take up to three days to contact a mechanic in the Dallas area or within 20 miles of my home (75080) and arrange for them to check out the truck. I"ll gladly take the truck in so it can be checked it out. As I mentioned earlier, I drive the truck regularly and believe it to be in great condition, but it"s not a new truck. I want your mechanic to go over everything carefully and give you an accurate representation of the truck but please don"t use this as an opportunity to pick the truck apart. If there"s anything significant (something that cost in excess of $400 to repair), I"ll gladly let you back out of the deal and I"ll make the repair then relist the truck. I want the new owner to enjoy this truck as much as I have.
