Vehicle description
1994 Chevrolet Corvette LT1, 6 Speed, 98,479 miles .
A great daily driver with lots of recent work.
Purchased in May 2018 in Tulsa OK from a dealer in Kansas, and driven 1000 miles to North Augusta SC in one day, this Corvette has never failed to be a source of joy and excitement as a daily driver and roadtrip king. I have about 26K miles in the cockpit of this 4 wheeled fighter jet. The clutch and transmission are easy to operate for seamless trips to the store, or tackling 400 miles a day for a week straight (I"ve done it!). The leather bucket seats are supportive on the twisty roads and comfy on the long ones. The Bluetooth stereo brings your tunes into the 21st century, or you can take the roof off and listen to the sound of the motor and exhaust. The problematic power seats have been replaced with manual ones, reducing overall weight in the process. The trunk, accessed by a large hatch, is spacious enough for two golf bags and two medium sized duffel bags, perfect for a weekend getaway to the beach. The 5.7L LT1 V8 and 6 speed transmission pair for a sporty experience, or up to 28MPG on the highway. The automatic climate control, repaired last year, works well to cool the cabin on hot summer days and warm it in the dead of winter.
This car has been great to me, and I will be sad to see it go. I know the next owner will love it just as much as I have!
NEW- OptiSpark water pump fuel pump fuel filter drilled and slotted rotors with pads wheel hubs front calipers and hoses catalytic converters headlights various sensors (VSS, door ajar, coolant temp, oil temp) front air dam
OTHER WORK/UPGRADES- Climate control module repaired Power seat to manual seat conversion Grand Sport style wheels Bluetooth stereo Radiator removed, cleaned and flushed recently AC leak repaired and filled
ISSUES- No reverse lights (broken sensor) Headlights fail to open first try about 50% of the time Scratch marks on driver headlight bezel Windows leak in very heavy rain Various scratches and rock chips Driver window slightly out of alignment Various squeaks and rattles.
