Extremely well kept 94 BMW 740i. Beautiful black leather interior in unbelievable condition. Looks like no one ever sat in the back seat and the front is in excellent condition as well. Ashtrays and lighters never used. Exterior paint is also in great shape minus a few pebble dings on front edge of hood. Also a small dimple on front hood above passenger side headlight and small dimple in rear right quarter panel mid height at waist height. This BMW belonged to the matriarch of a Christmas tree farm family in my area. Underneath is clean also, no rust. This car was literally owned by a little d lady who bought it in her 60"s and recently passed away in her 80"s. Obviously a successful family, the car was garaged its whole life and maintained on schedule. The 181,000 plus miles are way below the 10,000 per year average. The car rides well, handles the road like you would expect from a BMW, the car has incredible power and takes off on the hghway like a jet with no wings, seriously, I never had a muscle car but this seems like a German muscle car to me. As sweet as it is, there are a few issues, the drivers door lock has a problem and has to be locked and unlocked manually. The front passenger side window has come unglued from its track. It functions but needs to be re-glued into its track. The front passenger seat cable adjustment system seems to have come off from a pulley, so only one side of seat will adjust. These are simple fixes and not very serious. Mechanically, the oil pan gasket has a leak. It will need a right "front flex joint" The front drivers door lock needs replacement to function properly.
The car is drivable and runs great but these issues should be taken care of. I"m starting this auction at a very fair price considering the condition and the very few issues that need to be addressed. I"m happy to talk with you if you"re interested in this car.
