1994 Acura Legend LS Coupe 230 HP V6 (Type II) Engine Pearl White Exterior / Grey Cloth Interior Rare 6-Speed Manual Transmission
I"ve owned this car for several years now and I really don"t want to sell it but I need to in order to purchase something more practical for work. It is a fully functional daily driver and I would not hesitate to take a long road trip in it at any random moment. It is mechanically sound, good engine and good transmission, but it does have some issues that will need to be addressed now or in the future/near-future which will be listed below.
I"ve always used Premium gasoline (as required per the manufacturer) during my ownership and have been consistent with oil changes. I"ve routinely hand-washed the car myself during my ownership of it. It may not have been the perfect car but I always wanted it to have as clean of a appearance as it possibly could. I didn"t feel car washes could get the job that I wanted done nor did I feel hand-washers would put the same amount of energy and detail into cleaning it up as I would so I just decided that would be something that I take care of on my own. Nonetheless time does give wear so there are a few minor scratches as can be expected of a car this age. Please review the pictures in detail to also serve as part of the description.
The issues that I could best think of that need to be addressed are:
*Suspension - Driver axle might be starting to go as there is slight clunk when wheel is fully turned while in motion. Struts need to be replaced although the car can still be driven as I have. The struts are just not absorbing road bumps as softly as they should be.
*Brakes - Brakes/rotors will need to be replaced soon. No current grinding or squealing.
*Tires - Tires will need to replaced in the near future but they are still good to drive on now.
*Oil Leak - Small oil leak from bottom of car, about a few drops on concrete after leaving parked for 24 hours. I do not know the source as it has never affected the performance or functionality of the car as a daily driver.
*Clutch Fluid Leak - I need to top off the clutch fluid reservoir with a small amount of fluid about once a week.
Aside from what I"ve listed above all of the basic amenities are working fine; things such as the power windows/moonroof, A/C, heater, wipers, etc. However you would need to install a radio of your choice if you wish to have one, but the car does currently have aftermarket speakers installed that are ready to be wired to any head unit of your choice.
I"ve covered what I could but please feel free to ask any further questions prior to committing to a bid towards the purchase of this vehicle.
There aren"t very many of these cars left on the road with the rare 6-speed manual transmission. It truly changes the driving experience of the car as I have owned both. The manual transmission always made me look forward to any drive. . don"t let this one get away!
