I purchased this vehicle in August 2003 . My goal then was to have one of the nicest, cleanest, most BAD ASS looking Supra"s of all time and I wanted it to look like it came from the factory.
I think we achieved that goal with countless hours of manual labor, customizing the already famous and most expensive body kit at the time, The Top Secret Wide Body kit. There was no budget because it just would have gotten broken on more than one occasion so I never set one and we just did it.
The time has come for me to pass it on to it"s next caretaker. I very rarely drive it because in all seriousness, this car is just a beast . With that being said , throughout my ownership I haven"t driven it more than a few hundred miles myself It really has only been taken around the block to exercise it and to keep everything functioning properly. This Supra is truly unbelievable, t o hear that big turbo spooling up and then hearing the blow off valve release is something that never gets old, it is just insane actually.
I am going to do my very best to list everything I possibly can about the car along with additional photos.
I own it, title is free and clear and in my possession. So here we go!
93 Supra hardtop 1 of 275 built in 93 with the 6spd original V160 trans! Has a brand new high hp clutch and pressure plate, New Toyota 2JZ built shortblock bored .40 over, 264 cams with oversized valves, new timing belt and tensioners. Every bit of this motor has been meticulously gone through during the building process and now puts out an impressive 734hp and 634 ft/lb of torque on C16 fuel @23.5 psi of boost and the mustang dyno printout to prove it! Car has been gone through from front to back top to bottom and everything has less than 3000 miles since the beginning of taking it from stock, to not even close to stock! Definite head turner and proven show winner, best in class at Nopi national 2006 and Best overall show at Nopi 2006 as well. Carlisle import national just this past May 14-15 also took 1st place in it"s class (picture of it on grass three) Car also has been used as a prop with professional models throughout my ownership. Exterior Overall exterior very solid and p leasant , however it is not absolutely perfect as it been awhile since completed and has some scathes and small cracks in some spots. When in the bright sunlight and it hits at the right angle you will see a tad of yellowing in some spots on the car from the clear coat. A f ully removeable front clip for easy engine bay access comes off just like a front of a race car. The front clip was professionally made by a local gentlemen that has built race cars for many years. Front of car is very solid and supported by round tubular steel just like a race would. You can clearly see the photos that the front bumper and upper fenders are molded together so there is no bodyline separation creating a very sleek look.
Small incident : On July 4th weekend in 2009 this car was invited to do parade laps ( controlled and supervised speed) at Watkins Glen international race track where the driver of the car (not me) lost control when driving through the famous inner loop and spun out kissing the back of the car into a guardrail when he spun out. As you can see in the photos it was mainly the rear bumper, exhaust and the turn signal lens. All items replaced and car was repainted. Seeing how it happened at Watkins Glen on the track local authorities were called and it was of course documented for many reason and thus the accident report on the autocheck. I have all the documentation that will go along with the car on this.
Trades: I prefer to just sell outright but I will consider some trades up or down, all depends what you have ( Lamborghini Ferrari Viper NSX Porsche)
