1993 Volkswagen Multivan 5-Speed Syncro 4WD ! ! Exterior Color: Red Body Type: Van Transmission: Manual Drivetrain: 4WD Fuel Type: Gasoline Engine: 2.5L Title Condition: Clear Vehicle Description This 1993 Volkswagen Multivan was acquired by us in Europe just over a year ago and then imported into the US in 2018. A 2.5L inline-five sends power to all four wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission, and modifications include a GoWesty lift kit, window tint, and a front bumper guard with auxiliary lights. We recently had a VW specialist perform an oil change and install new spark plugs. Now showing 185k kilometers (~115k miles), this 4×4 Multivan is being . . offered with recent records, importation documents, and a Pennsylvania title. We believe this Multivan has been repainted in its two-tone red and grey scheme. Accessories include a rear tow hitch as well as a front brush bar with auxiliary lights. Window tint has also been added along with clear front turn signal lenses, and Syncro/4WD stickers. We had a GoWesty Eurovan suspension lift kit installed after importing the van. This T4 model offers the shorter of the two factory wheelbases at 115 inches, and black-painted 15? wheels wear new 215/70 Goodyear tires at each corner. A full-size spare is located in the rear hatch. The interior is upholstered in a multicolor cloth and features include an aftermarket Kenwood stereo, A/C, and a programmable space heater. 185k kilometers (~115k miles) are shown on the 6-digit mechanical odometer. The rear cabin features club seating, with rear-facing buckets and a rear bench that folds into a bed as demonstrated in the gallery. Other features include sliding side windows and a folding table. Power comes from a 2.5L inline-five, which in this Multivan is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and an all-wheel drive system. We commissioned a recent tune-up, which included new spark plugs, an oil change, and an inspection of the timing belt. The Syncro AWD system features a viscous central coupling to link the front transaxle to the rear wheels. The 2.5L inline-five was the only gas engine available with the Syncro drivetrain.
