This 1993 Mercedes-Benz 300GE was imported to the US approximately two years
ago, and was sold to the current owner one year ago. The truck is finished in black
over black leather and is powered by a 3.0-liter M103 inline-six paired with a 5-speed
manual transmission and a full-time four-wheel-drive system with locking front,
center, and rear differentials. Since importation the truck has received new tires,
brakes, a clutch, and oil and filter changes. Now in North Carolina, this 300GE is
offered by the selling dealer on behalf of the current owner with a factory tool roll
and a clean title.
The bodywork is finished in black with textured black plastic trim and color-keyed
bumpers, and the seller reports that the drivers door was refinished due to a scratch. Later style taillamps with clear turn signal lenses are fitted, and the truck
is equipped with a rear window wiper and a trailer hitch mounted under the rear
bumper.
Factory 18″ wheels are fitted with General Grabber HTS tires, and a matching set of
factory wheels with Toyo Winter Tranpath S1 tires are included. The truck is equipped
with tinted sliding rear windows, and a spare wheel and tire are protected by a
polished cover.
The cabin is upholstered in black leather with matching carpets and burl walnut
veneers on the center stack, dash, and door panels. The truck is equipped with
heated front seats, front armrests, rear headrests, a leather-wrapped steering wheel
rim, and heat insulating window glass. An aftermarket stereo was installed in the
factory location after importation.
The range selector for the four-wheel-drive system is located at the rear of the
center console, and switches for the front, rear, and center differential locks are
located above the HVAC controls. Factory instrumentation includes a 180-km/h
speedometer, 7k-rpm tachometer with nested clock, and fuel, temperature, and oil
pressure gauges. 184k kilometers (114k miles) are shown on the mechanical
odometer.
The 3.0L M103 inline-six was rated at 168 horsepower and 173 lb-ft of torque when
new, and sends drive to all four wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission and dual-
range transfer case. The seller reports that records are available since importation,
including fitment of a new clutch within the last 1k miles, and oil and filter changes.
The chassis and floors have been undercoated, and additional photos of the
underside are provided showing the suspension, bash guards, and more.
A factory tool roll and Mercedes-Benz branded first aid kit are included.
